I am now a Ph.D. student of Mathematics at Gran Sasso Science Institute, L’Aquila, Italy since November 2014. My current research interest has three directions, in general, covered in Analysis of PDEs and Numerical Analysis:
The first part is mainly homogenization methods. It lies in my Ph.D. thesis, entitled “Corrector homogenization estimates for PDE systems with coupled fluxes posed in media with microstructures“, under instruction of Prof. Adrian Muntean from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
The second part is considering numerical methods for a class of equations or system of equations of ultra-parabolic types, which is strongly related to age-dependent population dynamics.
And the last one is my old studies on regularization methods for ill-posed problems, especially Cauchy problems for elliptic equations and parabolic problems backward in time.
Throughout my works, I am very interested in approximation methods in combination with showing the convergence rate for PDEs, and using numerics to illustrate the theoretical results.
